JESSICA WORKS ON HER COUNTRY ALBUM

Jessica Simpson is working on her country album in Nashville, which will be released via Columbia Records. The actress-and-singer confessed she always fancied making a country album, but was expecting the appropriate time. Jessica, who names Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Reba McEntire as some of her inspirations, says, “I think there is a strength in female country artists." She also reveals she will be working on the creative process as well. "Writing is a release for me”. "It's a way for me to tell my story. That's not to say I wouldn't record a song that I didn't write."
