Jessica Simpson rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital on Sunday after her best friend was injured by a paparazzo in a bid to protect her. The incident happened while the singer and hairdresser Ken Paves were eating in a LA restaurant. A crowd of paparazzi tried to photograph Jessica and her male friend stood in the way to protect and resulted hit in his face, causing blood to start trickling down his face. An eyewitness says, "There were so many paparazzi waiting for Jessica and trying to get a picture of her that they all started pushing. Jessica was ducking down and Ken and her other male friend were trying to cover her and that's when Ken was hit in the face with a camera." No police reports have yet been filed on the incident.
